Kenny Brooks is from Las Vegas, Nevada and grew up playing AAA hockey for the Las Vegas Outlaws and Nevada Stars organizations. Kenny then moved on to play junior hockey for the Tri-City Storm for 3 years and was named Team Captain for the 2011-2012 season.
Following his junior hockey career, Kenny went on to earn a scholarship to play for Penn State University in the inaugural season as a Division I hockey program where he was a started for four years. After graduating from Penn State, Kenny played professionally for the Colorado Eagles in the ECHL for their 2016-2017 Kelly Cup winning season.
Kenny started his coaching career as an Assistant Coach in the USHL for the Tri-City Storm for the 2018-2019 season when the Tri-City Storm won the Anderson Cup. Kenny now lives in Las Vegas where he is the Hockey Director for the Storm and Head of Player Development for the Las Vegas Ice Center. He is also currently the west coast regional scout for the Tri-City Storm.
