PJ is a SoCal native who grew up playing goaltender through the ranks of AAA and Junior A hockey in the US and Canada. From there he was offered a scholarship at Penn State University in its first year as a NCAA Division l program. After playing 4 years at PSU he obtained his Degree in Kinesiology & Exercise Physiology. After college he played 2 years between the AHL and ECHL spending most his time in the New York Rangers organization.
He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA. As well as being a Youth Physical Literacy Specialist. He most recently has served as the Director of Hockey Sports Performance for Orange Lutheran High School as well as being the Goalie Development Coordinator for USA Hockey. PJ is in his 4th year of working with youth athletes and has developed an amazing age-appropriate curriculum that helps improve the performance of hockey players and many other athletes.
